The reports of issues came from parents through the manager as well directly from parents.  The managers are required to report such behaviors to the board however I do understand that many managers will attempt to handle these issues at the team level.

The board must take these reports seriously and will investigate the concerns of all parents.  Many times, the manager does not know about issues and I suspect that in this case they sent the message on from a concerned parent as they just learned of it as well.

The next steps of having Daxton understand and sign our Code of conduct is both a reasonable and non-punitive action that provides him with the chance to understand what is expected of him when playing little league at Peninsula.

Peninsula Little League strives to support all children in a positive manner which is why we have a code of conduct in place.  This is also why as a board we must take all reports of concerns seriously and act as soon as they are reported.  The Code of Conduct clearly defines what is seen as non-acceptable behavior including all Players, Parents, Volunteers and board members.

I am happy to continue this discussion in person Sunday morning 7:30 am if you would like.  I will also bring copies of all codes of conduct for your review if you wish to see them

Thanks,

Jason
