Peninsula Little League Families -
We are off to a great start for the 2024 spring season! Thank you to everyone for your flexibility, energy, and dedication to our league! As we continue on with regular season games, it is time to start thinking about the All Star selection process. If your player has even the slightest interest in being considered for one of the Peninsula All Star teams, please complete the actions listed below.
NOTE: Registering on the website and submitting this paperwork is required for players to be eligible for an All Star team. Failure to register and/or submit any of this paperwork will result in the player being ineligible for All Star selection. However, the completion of this application process DOES NOT assure your child a place on an All Star team as not all players who submit documents will be selected to an All Star team.
1. Read the Peninsula Little League All Star Schedule and Information website. Familiarize yourself with the All Star tournament dates. More detailed information on selection process will be posted in the coming weeks.
2. Register your player(s) via your Peninsula Little League Sports Connect Account. All Star registration will open in the coming weeks. Once the registration portal opens up, your initial registration indicates your desire and Player Commitment to be on an All Star team.
3. Complete the Heads Up Concussion Information Sheet.
4. Make a copy of your player’s three residency documents or have a School Enrollment Form completed by your player's school. See the Proof of Residence document for more information. Make sure all your residency documents or school form are dated properly. For the 2023 All Star season, residency documents must have valid dates between February 1, 2023 and February 1, 2024. Documents with dates after February 1, 2024 will not be accepted, (for example your utility bill from March 2024 will not be accepted for Spring 2024 Little League residency proof).
5. Fill out the Tournament Player Verification Form with your player’s name, date of birth, and address of either your player's residence or school.
6. Make a copy of your player’s official government issued birth certificate.
7. Attend Pre-Verification/Document Collection near the Snack Shack at Cleator Field on April 13th between 11:00am to 1:00pm to check your current player file and prepare your player’s All Star Packet containing all the documents listed above for District 32 Verification. Please come to this event prepared with all of your player’s paperwork. Do not expect to make copies or fill out forms when you arrive.
8. Attend the Official District Birth Certificate Verification event near the Snack Shack at Cleator Field on Saturday April 20th from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Bring your player’s original government issued birth certificate (not a copy!) for verification by a Little League District Official. If you did not turn in a copy of your player’s birth certificate on April 13th, then you must bring both the original and a copy.
Previously Verified Players:
Check with the Player Agent to see if the league already has a verified packet for your player. If your player has a validated All Star package on file, then all you need to do is complete the All Star Registration on the Peninsula Sports Connect Site.
District Verification is only required for 10U AllStars and above. However, we will work on completing District Verification for League Age 9 and League Age 10 year old players as completing this process for a younger player will make your life easier in following years. The only requirement for players to be eligible for Little Stars (CAPS) and Future Stars (Minors 8&9yos) is to complete the registration on the website.
If your player is interested in being eligible for All Stars and you absolutely cannot make the Pre-Verification/Document Collection on April 13th and theOfficial District Birth Certificate Verification event on Saturday April 20th from 2:30pm-3:30pm, please email the Peninsula Player Agent, at [email protected] to make a alternate arrangement for your player’s paperwork.
