Spring 2026 – A Season of Growth and Great Baseball
Spring 2026 is just around the corner, and with it comes another exciting season of Little League baseball — a time for players to learn, compete, and most importantly, have fun. Whether your player is stepping onto the field for the very first time or returning to build on last season’s progress, Spring Ball is where skills take shape, confidence grows, and lifelong friendships are formed. Every at-bat, every catch, and every high-five is a chance to learn something new and enjoy the spirit of the game.
This season, we’re focusing on
developing players through teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. Our coaches and volunteers are dedicated to helping each child reach their potential — not just as an athlete, but as a teammate and leader. From thrilling game days to energizing practices under the sun, Spring 2026 promises to be a season full of smiles, effort, and unforgettable baseball moments. Let’s play hard, learn lots, and have a great time doing it!
Our focus this season is on
developing players through teamwork, confidence, and spirited play. Depending on the league, each team will practice
once or twice a week to sharpen fundamentals and build chemistry, leading up to exciting weekend games full of energy and sportsmanship. With great coaches, supportive families, and players ready to give it their all,
Spring Ball 2026 promises to be a season packed with learning, laughter, and great baseball!
About Spring Ball
Spring Ball is the highlight of our Little League year — a fun, competitive season where players of all skill levels can learn, grow, and fall in love with the game of baseball. It’s a great time to build teamwork, make friends, and enjoy spirited games on the field.
Teams in CAPS and above divisions may practice once or twice per week, giving players plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and get ready for weekend games. Tee Ball and Rookies will practice once per week. Practices are held at parks throughout the Point Loma and Ocean Beach area, and players can note their scheduling preferences during registration — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
CAPS and above divisions will also include our Player Assessment and our Player Draft, so parents won’t be able to select practice days, friends, or coaches for these teams.
For Tee Ball and Rookies players may request to play with friends and specific coach preference at Orientation.
Each player will receive a team hat and jersey, ready to take the field for an exciting and memorable Spring Ball season!
Registration
Registration will open on November 1, 2025 and close on January 5, 2026
Once a division reaches capacity, no further late registrations will be accepted.

Choosing the Right Division
Use the guidelines below to determine the appropriate division for your child.
  - League Age 4: Tee Ball only.
- League Age 5: Most should play Tee Ball. Players who have completed one Spring season of Tee Ball, are mature for their age, and have above-average baseball skills may play Rookies (Coach Pitch).
- League Age 6: New players should play Tee Ball. Players who have completed one Spring season of Tee Ball should play Rookies (Coach Pitch).
- League Age 7: New players should play Rookies (Coach Pitch). Players who have completed at least one Spring season of Rookies should play CAPS (Machine Pitch).
- League Age 8: Most should play CAPS. Players who have completed at least one Spring season of CAPS, had a very successful season, are mature for their age, and have above-average baseball skills may “play up” in Minors (Player Pitch). Typically, only a few 8-year-olds play in Minors, and they should already be able to catch, throw, and hit well.
- League Age 9: Players who have played at least one Spring season of CAPS and had a successful season should play in Minors. New players or those who struggled in CAPS the previous season should remain in CAPS.
- League Age 10: All 10-year-olds play in Minors.
- League Age 11: Players who have played at least two seasons of Minors (Player Pitch) and had at least one very successful season should move up to Intermediates. Those who struggled in Minors should remain there.
- League Age 12: All 12-year-olds play in Intermediates.
- League Age 13: Most should play in Intermediates, though they may also play in Juniors. Players who wish to participate in both divisions must register for both and pay two registration fees. Please note that game schedules are not deconflicted for players participating in both.
- League Ages 14–15: Juniors only.
