Becoming a Board Member
Our Mission
Peninsula Little League is dedicated to creating a fun, safe,
and positive environment where kids can learn and enjoy the game of baseball.
We focus on teaching fundamental baseball skills while encouraging teamwork,
good sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Just as importantly, we strive
to build a welcoming community where families feel connected, supported, and
proud to be part of Peninsula Little League.
Why Are We Looking for New Board Members?
A successful Little League experience starts with a strong, caring group of
volunteers. Peninsula Little League relies on an engaged
Board of Directors to help guide the League in ways that keep baseball fun,
organized, and rewarding for our players and their families.
Each year, new Board Members are needed as others step away after years of
dedicated service. We are especially interested in parents from
Tee Ball through Minors, as these families represent the
future leaders of Peninsula Little League and bring fresh perspectives and
energy to the League.
You do not need prior baseball experience to serve on the
Board. Many roles focus on organization, communication, planning, and
supporting volunteers. A willingness to help, collaborate, and keep the
experience positive for kids and families is what matters most.
Having enough active Board Members allows responsibilities to be shared,
helps things run smoothly, and reduces stress for everyone involved. When
the workload is balanced, the Board can focus on what matters most—creating
a positive, enjoyable baseball experience for kids and a friendly, supportive
environment for families.
