2026 Junior Division Amended Rules
All Official Little League Regulations and Junior Division Playing Rules apply except as modified below.
Rules for Managers
- During the game only the manager and two coaches are allowed in the dugout.
- A coach or manager must be in the dugout at all times during a game.
- Only the manager may discuss the game with the umpire, and only when time has been called and permission to approach has been granted.
- Arguing judgment calls will not be tolerated.
- No food or snacks are allowed in the dugout.
Batting Order & Substitutions
- Peninsula Little League has adopted a continuous batting order.
- Free substitution is permitted.
Minimum Players / Borrowed Players
- A game will not result in a forfeit if a team arrives with 8 players or fewer.
- When short-handed, the defensive team will borrow the batting team’s last out from the previous inning.
- The borrowed player will play left or right field.
Run Rules
- The division uses Little League 10-run and 15-run rules (Rule 4.11(e)) during tournament and seeding games.
- Run rules are not used during exhibition games.
End of Season Tournament
- The tournament is governed by regular season amended rules and District 32 amended rules.
- Teams are seeded based on all regular season game records.
- Higher seed chooses home/away in the winner’s bracket.
- Loser’s bracket home/away determined by coin flip.
- Winner’s bracket team chooses home/away for the championship game.
- If a second championship game is needed, the winner of the first championship game chooses home/away.
